I'm gonna miss you!!!!

Tito and I went to Gabriel's birthday party today. He is 5 now.. well.. will be on Monday. It was awesome! Dawn did such a good job and I don't know why she needed me there for?? Honestly!! Of course I got to be the picture taking lady again! Yay! I love my new job! So Dawn know that I'm the greatest picture taker ever! Especially when I'm taking pics of kids that never stop moving! Ya know what I'm talking about!!!

Dawn had set up a whole program for the kids that came. It was a pirate theme birthday party so all the kids got to wear pirate hats and eye umm.. thingies and of course there was a treasure hunt! Dawn made her best chocolate cake again and it had a little treasure map drawn on it! Dawn you're awesome!

When it was time for all the kids to go home, Tito and I stayed to help clean up and do whatever else there was left to do (yeah like try to put little Grace to sleep cause she kept crying for hours) and since Ahti came over we decided to watch a movie too.

The big birthday boy Gabriel fell asleep on my lap, probably because I was sitting in a rocking chair and he just felt so comfortable and of course because he loves me!!! okay and because he was just exhausted of all the fun. It reminded me of all the good old times when I would come and babysit and watch cartoons with him and just laugh with him and be silly and put him to bed and read him a bedtime story and say a little prayer with him. Sitting there with him in my lap made me realize how much I'm gonna miss him when Corrie and Dawn move back to Canada because I got very close with him and he showed love to me and we just bonded very well (I've known this little boy ever since he was born!!).

So when he woke up and changed into his sleeping clothes, he came back downstairs and when we were about to leave I went over to him to say good bye and this is what happened...


me: hey Gabriel, we're gonna leave now!

Gabriel: YOU'RE LEAVING???

me: yes Gabriel, we have to go home now and you have to go to sleep!

Gabriel: but why??? why can't you stay??? please don't go!!! (he got very quiet and SO SAD!!)

me: oh Gabriel I'm so sorry I wish I could stay but I promise I will see you again very soon!!

Gabriel: (loooooong silence and him looking on the floor) I'm gonna miss you so much Teele!!

me: (almost breaking into tears) I'M GONNA MISS YOU TOO!!! SO MUCH!!!

Gabriel: I love you! Can I see you soon?

me: yes Gabriel you will see me very soon I promise!! And I love you too! Very much!

Gabriel: (still being very sad and looking on the floor) But I'm gonna miss you so much!!!!


And so we went on and on and on talking like that and I promise I almost cried! I love Gabriel and I was soooooooooo sad when I left his house! Please have mercy on me!!! This kid has my heart!!! And it's gonna break when he leaves. (sidenote: yes of course Tito has my heart too.. you know what I mean!!! sheesh!!)

So yes.... I'm very sad right now!! :(
