the HOPESOCIETY

This is one night out of the month when all the youth can come together and hear some punk-rock worship and also some preaching and just have a good time. As you can guess the big brain behind this is Tito and he is doing an awesome job!!!!! ..with my help of course! hehe!

The real purpose of this event is to get the youth that aren't christian or once were and left or have never heard anything about christianity or are just the kids that nobody wants in their youthgroup etc, etc... and of course the christian kids too to come together and hear about God and what's it all about!

We've had the hopesociety twice now, the first kick off one was in January where we had pastor Brandon from London, England come visit us here and be our guest speaker for the very first time. We passed out flyers and put up posters and had about 20-30 kids show up. Pastor Brandon shared a good message and after that God really used Tito to speak directly into the kids hearts and trust me it wasn't Tito talking there and making up his own little words, God was really speaking through him!!! That means that God can really use EVERYONE for His purpose. Now that I've said that...

We had the second hopesociety yesterday and the speaker this time was Tito and he was talking about second chances and if God can still use you even if you've sinned. Once again God was able to use him and speak through Tito again. I don't know how He can do it... You gotta understand, if you know Tito then you know that he's always goofing off and being loud and singing and just being silly so for me to see God work through him was just awesome cause he was like a totally different person!! Pretty cool stuff! Anyways... back to the real point here.. So this time we didn't put out any flyers or posters but surprisingly we still had the same amount of people there and we still had a great time. That gave us more faith to do what we do and keep moving forward!
